Free SMS - Is it Possible?
May 28, 2008 – 10:28 am | by tintin 567 viewsFew days ago i read from Indonesian local news network that Government of Philippine intends depress local telecommunications operator to free of instant message service or SMS.
Leandro Mendoza, functionary in Phillipines Transportation & Communication Department said “We still studying it. Operator ought to only synchronized expense of at call for voice. SMS is not be including elementary service and must be free,”
As initial step, the department plans registers application at National Telecommunications Commission, to free of SMS.
Before all, National Telecommunications Commission of Philippine had expressed that SMS only a kind of addition service. The Institute of consumer TXT Power also claims that in various states, service SMS is free.
Answers to the demand, various Philippine telecommunications companies refuses when theay asked [by] comment. They express will talk after having there are formal action from government.
According to study Acision, 50 million cutomer?clients of ponsel in Philippine sends to 1,39 million SMS per day. This means Philippine individual is including consignor SMS is many in world.
But is it possible ..???
Well, today i read again next sotry about free SMS in Philipines,
Some of people pessimist, disposal expense of SMS wonyt enables because this thing would hardly encumbers and endangers telecommunication network. High level former of National Telecommunication Commission told many deliveries of SMS as as result of free of cost will make breakdown system. He adds free SMS will make message of garbage more and more mount. The reason is, company and the politicians will race advertises themself via free SMS. They have confessed, free idea of this controversy SMS also difficult to be done.
So i agreed with he said, it can be a lot of sms junk all around.
Humm … how about Indonesia ?
There is a lot of Cellular Telecommunication provider is on competition give promo SMS bonus after using their services with many terms. They are try to win customers usings theirs services, but sometimes theirs network usually crowded, so we are difficult to make a phone call or send an sms. sigh …
I can imagine how it will be if SMS in Indonesia gonna be free of charge without support of good network infrastructure. Like new years eve , there is a lot of sms all around which contain greetings of New Year, but network so slowly, so i cannot make a phone call or receive sms delivered confirmation.
I thinks with cheap sms with good network ifrastructure it will be possible to do.
How about you ..??

It’s possible! I hv a package internet orange from France Telecom (included : non limeted internet, telephonie=non limited call to all fix numbers in france metropole, 100 sms of fix numbers, TNT TV) just for 29,90€ = Rp. 418 600,-
My friends use Alice (from Italia Telecom): non limited internet, telephonie, 100 SMS, call to mobile phones in France, international fix calls to 60 country included Indonesia, internet TV, free from monthly fee France telecom line just for the same price.
Apply this system in Indonesia? Why not!

sebenernya kalau ada itikad baik dari operator bisa saja. misalnya sms sesama operator itu kan tidak mengeluarkan biaya sama sekali….
tp siapa yang bisa menolak uang? ini masalahnya haha
