Blogging Idol Competition

I thougt in this world only sing idol competition which held, like American Idol, Indonesian Idol, and others country idol.  In internet there is an idol competition too. I found there is Blogging Idol Competition was held right now. The prizes was $3000 only for one winner. Not bad isn’t it ..

It’s not about whose gonna be a blog celebrities, but it’s just which website gonna be an idol for their readers.

This competition  held for all bloggers and all blogsite, all competitor must improve their blogging skills to attract readers and improve their RSS subscriber for their blogsite. It count from feedburner feed readers. The readers which subscribe feeds at blogsite is like with thats blog. It can be like from contents or anything from blogsite.

Blogging Idol Competition was held by Daily Blogging Tips, and sponsored by 5 site like Sponsored Reviews, Keyword Country, Bidvertiser, Yoast, & Not So Boring Life. The prizes was courtesy from them.

This is the rule of the competition, which i copy paste from Daily Blogging Tips

1. All participants must activate the Feedburner feed count at the beginning of the competition.
2. Participants will need to send a short email weekly (100-200 words), describing their strategies to gain RSS subscribes, and what they are doing on their blogs.
3. I will group all those emails and publish them on a single post every week, so that readers can follow and understand how participants are competing.
4. Blackhat methods will not be allowed, so you can’t fake stats, try to damage the blog of competitors and so on.
5. Paid promotion will not be allowed, else it would become a “who can spend more” contest.
6. All other strategies and techniques are allowed (guest articles, contests, give-aways, controversial articles, free eBooks), so you are free to get creative
7. The winner will be the blogger that manages to increase his RSS subscriber base by the largest number (final count minus initial count).
