Motorola Droid Overview
October 23, 2009The Motorola Droid is the first ever Verizon Android Phone and it is about to absolutely dominate the mobile phone market. The Motorola Droid truly has it all with a huge and vibrant touchscreen, solid metal body, full QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with flash and auto-focus, 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi, GPS and an amazingly powerful processor.

But that’s not all… the Motorola Droid is the first Android Phone to comes loaded with Android 2.0 – the latest and greatest version of the operating system. All of this is packed into a phone that can EASILY fit into your pocket. It is only SLIGHTLY thicker than the iPhone but it is SO much more powerful. And if you don’t believe Phandroid take Verizon’s word for it with their new campaign… “Droid Does”:
What the iDoesn’t… the Droid Does. And on the powerful Verizon Wireless network the Motorola Droid is destined to become an instant sensation. In fact, people are already dubbing it the best phone on the market. Crazy considering it hasn’t even officially launched… but I don’t doubt it for a second.

Droid DoesThe “Droid Does” campaign is a Verizon Wireless shot at Apple, very directly claiming what the iDon’t phone isn’t able to do and saying on the flip side what Droid CAN Do. Usually this is asking for trouble because of the iPhone’s superiority but in this case… the iPhone is in big, big trouble.
