We all know that the H1N1 virus is potentially deadly. We also know that there is a severe shortage of the H1N1 vaccine. While some people are concerned with the H1N1 vaccine dangers, others are scrambling to get their dose.
Currently, only children, pregnant women, and those with health issues are receiving the H1N1 vaccine. According to PandemicFluOnline.com, President Obama’s two daughters Malia and Sasha have both received their swine flu vaccinations. The President and First lady are waiting to get their shots until after “people in priority groups” get their vaccine.
In addition, thousands of Irish children fell ill after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. 15 year old Rhys Fletcher fell seriously ill, and was even hospitalized. Later, he was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus.
H1N1 vaccine dangers are especially a concern for pregnant women. These individuals have to think about not only their life, but the life inside them as well. Pregnant women should try to get the H1N1 vaccine without a mercury-based preservative. There are fears that one of the H1N1 vaccine dangers of the mercury-based preservative includes childhood autism. However, on October 20, a national obstetric association said that the preservative in the H1N1 vaccine was safe for pregnant women.
Among the dead are elderly patients – one with heart and lung disease, and another 90 year old individual with an undisclosed health condition. Although these are the first H1N1 vaccine deaths to surface, the fact remains that reports such as this makes people very scared of the H1N1 vaccine dangers.
In the 1970s, the H1N1 vaccine dangers included an increased risk of a potentially debilitating nerve disorder, GBS. Many skeptics think that the danger of developing GBS from the H1N1 vaccine is as great today as it was in the past. However, the FLU VACCINE has been improved upon for over 3 decades since the last H1N1 vaccines were handed out. Hopefully, this H1N1 vaccine danger doesn’t exist.
Whether or not you are scared of the H1N1 vaccine dangers, the H1N1 virus poses a significant threat this flu season. If you feel flu-like symptoms coming on, play it safe and stay home. This way, you won’t become a part of spreading the H1N1 virus.

One of my sisters got infected with H1N1 or more commonly known as Swine Flu. Fortunately, she did not have very high fever and she was able to recover fast .
