Dwayne Wade’s dunk over Anderson Varejao
November 14, 2009Dwayne Wade’s Dunk Ignites Young NBA Season
Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade’s dunk over Cleveland Cavalier Anderson Varejao has ignited interest in a young NBA season fighting for attention between NFL and college football. Its an NBA season sure to be compelling with the loaded Los Angeles Lakers adding Ron Artest. The Boston Celtics adding Rasheed Wallace, the Cavaliers adding Shaq and the Spurs adding Richard Jefferson.
Its way too early for predictions but one can tell that the Lakers have not missed a beat and are off to a hot start even without the all star Pau Gasol who has been injured. The Celtics are hot as well as the Miami Heat. The Cavaliers are not off to the great start they had a year ago but are finding their way and last night overcame the dunk and defeated the previously once beaten Heat.
About ten games in and one can already surmise that its going to be a very long season for the New Jersey Nets who have yet to win a game, the New York Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota who have all won once this year. Byron Scott has already been the first coaching casualty fired by the New Orleans Hornets despite being named coach of the year two seasons ago and having the best point guard in the game Chris Paul. About ten games in and the MVP candidates are already a familiar cast of characters Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard, Chauncey Billups, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, and Paul Pierce.
