The first is a wireless sensor that you put either in the over or on the grill. This part transmits information back to the main component, which you can place wherever you want. The main component displays the information sent from the sensor like the temperature of the meat or food being cooked, the length of time it has been cooking, and other helpful information. This helps so that you don’t have to constantly open and shut the grill or oven to check the temperature of your food, and it also has an alarm that will sound when the food has reached a desired temperature the was entered into the device.
