LA earthquake; Earthquake Los Angeles; Californa earthquake
March 16, 2010A 4.4 magnitude earthquake shook California early this morning just simply east of downtown Los Angeles. There have been no information of harm or injuries.
“It was a shake, but not bad. Our inmates rested through it and now we had several calls, but not as much as you’d think,” (Pico Rivera sheriff’s station Sgt. Jacqueline Sanchez to AP).
Though the quake was considered small-scale, especially when compared to ones that hit Haiti and Chili, it was felt over a large area – even people from San Bernandino felt the rumbles.
There’s a chances this “little” quake might trigger something larger within the coming hours or next week.
