Mc Donalds Monopoly Game Winner – A 23-year old woman won the $1 million prize in the Mc Donald’s Monopoly game in one meal.
Brandi Futch, of White House, Tenn. collected both Boardwalk and Park Place (the two pieces needed to win) after she ordered a McChicken sandwich, fries and a sweet tea.
Futch, 23, works in customer service for the Grand Ole Opry House and will receive $50,000 a year for the next 20 years.
It may not be enough to retire on, especially after taxes, but it’s enough to take care of most of her needs. (more…)
Volvo giving Twilight movie fans chance to win a Volvo XC60
Volvo Cars of Canada is giving vampire movie fans a chance to win a Volvo XC60 or tickets to the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Los Angeles and opportunity to meet some of the cast members. Entrants have a chance to win a Volvo XC60 — the vehicle driven by Edward Cullen, the character portrayed by Robert Pattison in New Moon, by putting their Twilight saga knowledge to the test in an interactive contest.
The game also includes tickets to the New Moon premiere. To enter, visit www.whatdrivesedward.com.
“Volvo is central to Edward’s character in the Twilight saga,” Jeff Pugliese, president and CEO of Volvo Canada, said in a statement.
“One lucky fan will be the first to solve all of the puzzles in Volvo’s What Drives Edward contest and win a new XC60.
“While the XC60 doesn’t come equipped with a vampire, the winner will experience the power, beauty and protection that is Volvo, and it will transport them to all of their great moments in life.”
Players who register will receive clues to help solve a series of puzzles.
Volvo launched a contest tie-in with the second Twilight movie New Moon, “What drives Edward?”
Twilight fans who participate in the contest can win premiere tickets and a new Volvo. A lot of fans are having trouble with “What drives Edward, phase 4,” and a question on Yahoo Answers points to a video that seemingly helps. (Die hard fans: Stephenie Meyer is appearing on Oprah today to promote New Moon.)
