They’re just jealous, so says the Angel Rotger, doorman-turned-husband of the “Heidi Klum of foot models” (Christina Amber) who’s locked in a legal catfight with the management of her swanky upper East Side building. “They’re jealous that she’s young and a model and able to live here in the building,” Angel Rotger said Friday outside 340 E. 74th St.Rotger married foot-and-hand model Christina Ambers in July, two years after their budding romance sent shockwaves through the hoity-toity building and cost him his job.

Rawlings Gold Glove Award 2009 winners
ST. LOUIS (Nov. 11, 2009) – Rawlings Sporting Goods has announced the 2009 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Winners for the National League.

Jamie Mccourt Notes at MLB franchise Notes
CATERING TO EVERYONE: The Dodgers’ efforts to market the game to female fans was examined by ABC’s Stephanie Sy, who noted the team has had “Knitting Night” and conducted yoga classes in the outfield because “ladies bring in the bucks.” Dodgers CEO Jamie McCourt, who created the marketing effort, said, “The main strategy was, ‘Let’s figure out how to integrate women into baseball and baseball into their lives and make it fun.’” Sy noted women make up “more than 45% of MLB fans, more than any other professional sport.” The initiative seems “much less about girl power and much more about purchasing power.” Sy: “Just check out all the supposedly ‘female-friendly’ merchandise in the gift shop, all of it drenched in pink” (“World News,” ABC, 9/27).

Harlan Chamberlain (World Series Moment)
NEW YORK — The throng of media members around the makeshift stage seemed impenetrable, but Harlan Chamberlain motored his way through all of the cameras and notepads anyways. Reaching a blue barrier, he stopped his scooter, strained to look over a crowd of world champion Yankee ballplayers and tried to get a glimpse of his son. When that proved useless, he simply resorted to his considerable vocal chords.

Sorry, but the NYC.gov/Parade Yankees Parade Ticket period has ended. NYC.gov/Parade announcing the tickets to the Yankees City Hall Plaza Ceremony has ended.
As of 4:30 PM EST, the website reads:
The NY Yankees City Hall Plaza Ceremony ticket giveaway entry submission period has ended. Thank you for your interest.
There have been reports in the past of fraudulent offers for tickets to the parade – including access to floats – and to the ceremony. There are no tickets or passes to any portion of the parade, and any such offers are fake. Ceremony tickets are not for resale.
