On the night before Christmas, not a creature could possibly be stirring for a last-minute trip to the mall.
That’s because whatever holiday gift-giving spirit might seize you Dec. 24, you will have had since before Halloween to track down top deals, thanks to a race to the bottom from top retailers like Best Buy, Sears, and Wal-Mart. They’re not waiting until Thanksgiving weekend, the traditional “Black Friday,” to offer great deals on holiday merchandise. They’re doing it now.
Sears started the whole business by announcing that it was “Black Friday Now” on Oct. 28. Everyone from Wal-Mart to CVS to Ace Hardware has followed suit in some way or another, rolling out commercials and flashing the type of deep discounts normally reserved for those willing to camp out outside of major retailers on the morning after Thanksgiving. Black Friday Ads 2009: Target, Walmart and Best Buy 2009 Black Friday Ads Released
More 2009 Black Friday ads have been released. The 2009 Black Friday ads are of course for the upcoming Black Friday, and 2009′s installment is looking do even better than last year. With Black Friday 2009 falling on November 27th, stores are starting to leak details of their 2009 Black Friday ads, and though many haven’t been officially released it’s getting people excited for Black Friday 2009 already. Wednesday saw the revelation of 2009 Black Friday deals at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and even Staples. Several web-sites are putting together all of these 2009 Black Friday deals into easy to find locations, and its drawing many people to figure out which store will offer the best sales. (more…)

Black Friday 2009: Best Buy Ads show low-priced Acer Aspire
One of the most recent Black Friday deals we have seen this year is from BestBuy, they have just announced that they will be offering an Acer Aspire laptop at a record-low price.
The laptops specifications are not the greatest, however pretty decent given the price, the laptop features an Intel Celeron 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, the laptop will also run Windows 7. (more…)

Black Friday Deals 2009: “Christmas Creep” Leads To Earlier Deals
Sears took “Christmas creep” one step further Wednesday, pitching its weekly sales as “Black Friday doorbuster” deals before Halloween.
The merchant, owned by struggling parent company Sears Holdings Corp., said it would kick off the weekly specials Friday evening and open stores at least two hours early every Saturday through Thanksgiving, hoping to draw shoppers with the promise of markdowns before the day after Thanksgiving.
The traditional shopping spree — dubbed Black Friday because it often was the day when a surge of shoppers helped stores break into profitability for the full year — has marked the kickoff of holiday shopping for many shoppers. But its importance has faded in recent years as merchants started hawking the deep sales and expanded hours usually reserved for that day well in advance. (more…)
