2 oranges
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, cut in fine, or ½ tsp. powdered ginger
1 bag (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, black, if you must.
Peel one orange and shred the zest (orange part only) with a microplane, or vegetable peeler. Make sure none of the white gets in. Set aside. Squeeze both oranges for juice; set aside. (more…)
