A murder trial case that is almost 100 years old still remains a mystery, because Leo Frank, who was convicted for the murder isn’t the man who committed the murder. Leo Frank was later lynched for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan.
Leo Frank was sentenced to die for Mary Phagan’s murder, and was ultimately pardoned by the Governor because he believed that Frank did not receive a fair trial. Twenty-five local men took Frank from the jail and hung him to die. The trial itself was a considered a mockery of justice at the time, because the evidence actually pointed to another man who was the key witness for the prosecution. (more…)
