Right now, news about Vevo which is invented by Abu Dhabi Media company is blasting, but i don’t know why at the internet there is a connection between Meredith Whitney Advisory Group and Vevo News. i try searching about the connections, but i still don’t get it. Is it about Meredith Whitney Advisory Group advise to Abu Dhabi Media Company to buy Vevo shares or else. Maybe some of you reader got an idea about the connection or nothing happen between them?

Vevo has added a lot of available jobs on their Facebook page, so if you would like to work for Vevo you should check it out. Some of the open positions are: Project Management Coordinator, Art Director, Web Designer, Senior Project Manager, Senior Manager of Content & Programming and .Net Developer. The last one is rather interesting. There have been rumors that Vevo will use Microsoft Silverlight instead of Adobe’s Flash format. Flash is what most of the streaming/tube websites use at the moment, including YouTube, so it’s interesting to see if Vevo will be indeed going for Microsoft’s Silverlight. By looking at some of the other job descriptions it looks like at least some part of Vevo will be build on a Microsoft server network (some of the job requirements include Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL, IIS 7, etc.). This Information i got it from vevoblog.

Vevo, the forthcoming premium music video site, has received a strategic investment from the Abu Dhabi Media Co. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but sources tell MediaMemo that the transaction values the venture at $300 million, which matches previous reported valuations Vevo was seeking during fund raising in August.
