According to federal aviation and military officials reports a Coast Guard plane and a Cobra Attack helicopter crashed Thursday night after hitting each other nearly 16 miles east of San Clemente Island, California. The reason of collide is yet not known.
Though the exact details are still unconfirmed but it is being expected that 7 people were there to be on-board a C-130 plan and two were travelling in the AH-1 helicopter. (more…)

San Clemente Island Accident
Los Angeles- A midair collision occurred between a US Marine Corps Bell AH-1 Cobra and a US Coast Guard helicopter on Thursday night about 24 km east of San Clemente Island, as reported by CNN. 9 persons are feared dead in this accident. (more…)

Coast Guard C-130 Airplane and Marine Corps AH-1W helicopter collide near San Clemente
The Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Corps are searching for survivors from two military aircraft that collided 15 miles east of San Clemente Island, Calif. at about 7:10 p.m, Thursday. A Coast Guard C-130 Hercules aircraft, from Air Station Sacramento, was engaged in a search and rescue mission when it collided with an AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter, from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing stationed at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, conducting a training mission.
