The Walmart Black Friday flyer contains a lot of deals. Black Friday shoppers won’t be disappointed by Walmart this year. While other Black Friday flyers are giving deals that are dismal when compared to years past, Walmart is trying their best to give consumers the best deals for the holiday season. The Walmart Black Friday flyer also includes a variety of markdowns on apparel and toys. Children’s sleepwear is only $3, and there are several items of apparel for $7 or less.
Some of the best deals in the flyer include a 50″ Sanyo 720p HDTV for $598. A similar model from Samsung is $698. While this a 720p doesn’t offer the highest resolution (that’s a 1080p), it’s still a pretty clear picture. Add a $78 Blu-Ray and some cheap DVDs and the man in your life will be happy this year. The news that Walmart had released their Black Friday 2009 Ad was big news a few days ago for all the wrong reason; this was due to the ad scan having to be removed. DVD Talk was forced by Walmart to take the ad scan down. Thankfully Walmart have now released their full ad, which shows 300 products up for sale.
Before we take a look at a few of the top deals that we think will prove popular, we know that Blu-ray players, TV’s and Digital Camera’s will feature heavily. However, we must not forget that there are also deals on other electronics, clothing and accessories, toys and much more. (more…)

DVDs and e-books that sell for under $10 is one thing. Appliances that sell for $3 is another. Target (NYSE:TGT) is offering toasters, coffee makers, and slow roasters at $3 each, according to data from GotADeal.com. It is a sign that discounting to pull in retail customers is getting out of hand.
A number of retail industry analysts have questioned whether Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), and Target (NYSE:TGT) can make money on their DVD promotions. It is just as likely that they choose to lose money on these items to draw people into stores or to their online sites.. They hope that those customers will buy more expensive products that have reasonable profit margins. It is a risk, but given the revenues of the three companies, not a big one. (more…)

$3 toasters? That’s Target’s Black Friday deal, site says
Looking for a $3 gift deal on small home appliances? Target may be the ticket. The retailer’s Black Friday specials include $3 coffee and sandwich makers, toasters and slow cookers, according to gottadeal.com.

With this year’s Black Friday Deals popping up from Walmart to Best Buy, the focus has been on early deals rather than the big lineup for the 5 A.M. store openings. Tragic events from last year have changed major retailers procedures this year.
The death of a temporary worker at Walmart has fueled the latest trend of pre or early Black Friday deals. Many retailers liek K-Mart and Best Buy have started with special deals on days before the famed shopping day.
Walmart has changed the store hours for the day to 24 hours to avoid the massive stampedes to the items featured in their big sale. (more…)
